Documents to be Submitted by Representative Office of a Foreign Enterprise Wishing to Extend the Period of Operation in China

1. The original of the application for the extension signed by the president or the general manager of the foreign company.
2. The copy of the registration certificate of the foreign company. Enterprises from Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR should also deliver the copy of the valid business registration certificate. Enterprises USA should submit the copy of the articles of association.
3. The original of the bank letter of reference for the foreign company issued by the bank operating the company's account.
4. Copy of the valid lease agreement for the representative office.
5. The companies leasing the office space from an independent owner shall also submit the owner's proof of the housing purchase.
6. The original of the work report of the representative office signed by the chief representative and bearing the chop of the representative office.
7. Copy of the original approval certificate, registration certificate.
8. English documents shall be accompanied by their Chinese translation.

To extend the registration certificate the documents mentioned in the above points 5, 6 and 7 shall be submitted.
